Celestial Portfolio

I joined a design team within UF’s Gator User Design club that was tasked with designing a portfolio website for a PhD student at MIT researching molecular astrochemistry. She wanted a celestial-themed portfolio showcasing her research and academic career. My team used Figma to design the various webpages, and Framer to create the website.

I primarily worked on the design of the home page and contact page. The website is still being updated by our client with her information before it’s fully published.

We conducted user research to understand the best design for this portfolio, including making user personas and meeting with our client to hear her desires for the website and get feedback on our design.

I learned a lot about the user design process during this experience, and I appreciate my peers helping me learn more about website design and Figma creation.
